First 60 Minutes

Executable early-game checklist — systems you can practice on dive one, not empty minute marks.

1. Bite is your best weapon

Bite restores recoverable damage and returns health.
Weak core → Instant Skill (one-shot ability). Elite core → Style Skill (transform + passives like wall-jump / flight).
Boss core → Boss Receipts for Bessie Burger dishes that enhance Zombie Skills.
Need a filled Bite Gauge — build it with melee.

2. Styles — Instant vs Style Skill

Each elite Style can drop five different Style Skills; glance at the skill before you commit the Bite.
Passives are Style-locked (e.g. Werewolf keeps Nocturnal + Wall Jump regardless of which of the five skills you got).
Look up encountered Styles in Frank’s Database at the mall.

3. Stupid Parry + Heat (yellow glow)

Parry reduces damage taken; leftover damage becomes Recoverable (Bite it back). You cannot die during Stupid Parry.
Heat Attack = enemy glows yellow — multi-hit nuke. Parry on contact for Stupid Impact: stun + exposed Core for Bite.
Build the habit: yellow glow → Parry → Bite Core.

4. Watch Ticktock Teddy

Teddy is your dive timer. On expiry Davy becomes extremely vulnerable.
Landing Areas pause the timer; Bite cores and layer clears that grant Time Boosts extend it.
Play fast and aggressive so you reach deeper layers consistently.

5. Invest in OT (Body Hack) at Acelino

OT Gears are persistent: develop at Ink on the Brain (Acelino), then equip head / arms / legs.
Passives run in the background; Auto Skills trigger on conditions. Higher rarity = more passives.
Presets can be swapped from Landing Areas — change kits per boss, not mid-swing.

6. Combat Camera Assist

No classic lock-on. Enable Combat Camera Assist in Accessibility — camera eases toward the enemy you are fighting.
Still nudge manually in messy packs; Assist removes most of the fight-the-camera tax.
